How long do solar inverters last?
Most inverters carry a manufacturer warranty of around 10 years. Many last longer, but the inverter is usually the first part of a system to need replacing.
Can you replace my inverter with a hybrid?
Yes. A hybrid inverter lets you add a battery now or later. We check compatibility with your existing panels first.
Why does my inverter trip on sunny afternoons?
Often it’s grid overvoltage: local grid voltage rises and the inverter disconnects to protect the network. We check its settings and wiring, and can help you raise it with your distributor.
Is my inverter still under warranty?
Check the install date and the model on the inverter label. Many carry around 10 years; send us a photo and we’ll check for you.
Is it safe to reset my inverter myself?
Only follow the shutdown and start-up procedure printed on your inverter label. Don’t open the inverter or touch rooftop isolators.
Do you work on systems installed by other companies?
Yes. Our technicians assess and service systems installed by other companies. A site assessment fee may apply, and we give a written quote before any work.
