How much do solar panels and batteries cost?
Prices depend on system size, roof type, number of storeys and switchboard. We give upfront pricing with every extra itemised on your quote. See solar and battery prices in Melbourne.
Are there hidden costs?
No. Extras such as tile roofs, two-storey access, switchboard upgrades and 3-phase connections are listed as separate lines on your quote before you sign.
How long does installation take?
Metro installs are completed within 3 weeks of signing and regional installs within 4 weeks. We confirm your installation date within 24 hours of your deposit.
Do you handle Solar Victoria rebates?
Yes. We’re a Solar Victoria authorised retailer and handle the rebate application, grid paperwork and meter changes. See Victorian rebates.
Can you add a battery to my existing solar?
Yes. We check your inverter and can add batteries up to 30kWh. See adding a battery.
What size battery do I need?
Size it to the power you use after the sun goes down. Many homes suit 10kWh to 14kWh, larger families 20kWh to 30kWh.
Which brands do you install?
Jinko Solar, Canadian Solar, LONGi and Trina panels; GoodWe, Growatt, Sungrow and Fronius inverters; FoxESS, GoodWe, Sungrow, Sigenergy, Growatt, Alpha ESS and SOFAR batteries. We don’t install Tesla.
Do you repair systems installed by others?
Yes. A site assessment fee applies, and we give a written quote before any repair work. See solar repairs.
How often should panels be cleaned?
Every one to two years suits most homes; more often near the coast, farms, busy roads or trees. See solar panel cleaning.
What warranties do I get?
A 10-year workmanship warranty, 25-year panel warranty and 10-year inverter warranty, plus a free routine check-up two years after installation.
Do you install in NSW or Queensland?
Not yet. We install across Victoria, with Sydney and Brisbane planned for the future.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, with evening appointments available.
