Is a 20kWh battery enough for my home?
It depends on how much power you use after sunset. A 20kWh battery typically covers the evening and much of the night. We size it from your bill and usage data before quoting.
How much does a 20kWh battery cost?
The price depends on the brand, whether your existing inverter is compatible and installation requirements. The federal battery discount is applied on your quote. See the price list.
Will the battery work during a blackout?
Only if the system is set up for backup. Many batteries can power selected circuits or the whole home during an outage when installed with a backup function. Tell us if backup matters to you.
How much is the federal battery discount?
The Cheaper Home Batteries Program gives roughly 30% off an eligible battery at the point of sale and is not means tested. Since 1 May 2026 larger capacity earns less per kWh, and the discount steps down on 1 January 2027.
