Can you add a battery to solar installed by another company?
Yes. Our technicians assess systems from other installers, check compatibility and quote a battery that suits what you have. A site assessment fee may apply.
What size battery should I add?
Size it to the power you use after the sun goes down. Many homes suit 10kWh to 14kWh, larger families 20kWh to 30kWh.
Does the federal discount apply to retrofits?
Yes. Eligible batteries added to existing solar qualify for the Cheaper Home Batteries discount.
